The important part of the following cartoon is the date.  8/17/08, prior to the election of President Obama into office.  A couple of American citizens are walking down the sidewalk talking about how if Obama gets elected he'sll destroy the economy and failing to notice, as they walk obliviously past the sign, that the economy has been fucked by George W. The next one is just a reminder.  Plutocracy/Monarchism is the next step, that's the type of country we are poised to fall into especially because the supreme court is Republican.  The supreme court passed citizens united as a step to WEALTH CONCENTRATION in a top few people.  Romney wants to take Ryan's "marvelous" budget and USE IT against the average citizen (which is 99 percent of Americans on xanga too, at LEAST) cutting what's left of what we have to help the people who are struggling, frequently through NO FAULT OF THEIR OWN (babies, that's your reminder, if a baby/toddler is dying in poverty it's not the baby's fault, but Republicans don't care about THAT) and give the wealthy EVEN MORE TAX BREAKS?  That's all the Republicans care about.

The Koch brothers, Plutocrats/Monarchs in chief. Or you could call it a plutocracy, run by a very few plutocrats, it's like Latin America 50 years ago, it's highly dangerous. That is taking you TOWARD slavery, not away from it, to the black Paul supporter from yesterday who is worried about slavery. Because I'll tell you what Obama is no socialist, he held the tax cuts on the rich in place, he asked for an individual mandate (right wing health care plan) etc. etc. etc.

 

Obama is turning around the economy and bringing back the jobs.  Some people are just miffed that he doesn't have a magic wand.  They're stupid if they don't vote to give him a second term, I'll give you two reasons why.  One of them has to do with the oppositional forces Obama has been hit with from the Tea Bag People, the other one has to do with trends and timing.

The economy is returning.  In terms of Job Recovery, It's OUT of the RED and Obama has kept it out of the red. So since people really can't say the facts are not true (although that doesn't stop them) they usually come up with something like: oh well he's done it but it's slow. OF COURSE it's been slow. The Republican Tea Bags have blocked every move he tries to take!

Let me explain why progress has been slow with cartoons.  Here is cartoon A.  This shows the Republicans (the elephant) wanting Obama to be superman and do miracles to turn around the mess that George W bequeathed him with in Record Time.  Note the cape?  The IRONY is that Obama actually could do it faster.  That is proven beyond doubt by the fact that he has done it DESPITE the fact of the elephant standing on his cape and saying "NO NO NO NO NO NO," because we now have PROOF (in addition to Republican boss Limbaugh) that the Republicans began their meetings to ruin Obama (and therefore all the hapless Americans) the day he took office.

The deficit is not that big a deal, it happens all the time, much calming down needs to be done about that, it's a Republican Trick to get you to panic.  When they say "Everybody needs to tighten their belt because you should PANIC about the deficit or social security or WHATEVER, that's the Republicans trying to trick you into refusing to raise taxes on the wealthy back to where they were under Reagan who did raise taxes double digit number of times with the support of the people. 

Rolling back the tax breaks on the wealthy is one step to getting that deficit down, giving them MORE tax breaks?  OPPOSITE EFFECT.  Are you hearing me, Paul supporters who are going to waste your vote and/or make it an anti Obama vote?  Are you hearing me, young people?  Calm down about the debt, the debt will right itself when the TEA BAGS get out of there.  Their NO WAY JOSE is the reason we have this, their "I wouldn't raise taxes one dollar on the mega wealthy in return for 10 dollars for the people."  ALL OF THEM.  It was pathetic.  They pledge allegiance to Grover Norquest who is he?  One of the Oligarchs-to-be, that's all.  They want to please him so they can be Oligarchs too.  Don't let them!

Non Obama people, whether Paul or Romney, PAY ATTENTION.  Here's the chart that counts the most.  You can find it pretty much Anywhere decent and honest, this is the chart of American job loss and American job growth BY COLOR.  Red = George W. Was the President, Blue = Barack Obama was the president.  As you can see, it takes a while to reverse a trend.  As anybody with a good brain knows, it takes a while to reverse a trend.  There are newer versions of this chart and the trend only goes upwards when it's blue.

 

The concept is called MOMENTUM. All the wrong things that George W. Bush did, all put together sent America into a huge momentous downward swing.  Once the BLUE comes into the field, you see the trend begin to reverse.  Now we've got Blue Momentum going.  Blue Momentum is preferable to red momentum, contrary to Republican lying BS, ultra BS about all these slacker wannabes.

 Americans actually DO want jobs.  Graduating students actually DO want jobs.  They didn't graduate from college in debt so that they could grow up and become slackers, do not believe the Great Republican Lie which is that people will get by doing the least they can do to survive.  Why would they have completed college and gone into debt if they didn't want jobs?  Why go to that trouble if you life time goal is to sit around and try to be Dependent on the Big Feds.  The government is not "All so Gigantic" that's another bunch of BS that I'll dispute in a future blog. 

 Even if you are a Ron Paul supporter, you cannot ignore the Blue Momentum in this picture, you just cannot ignore it and your guy CANNOT win, he's not in the race, he's not even campaigning anymore. A vote for Paul is a vote for the red momentum because it's a vote against the blue momentum.

There are a lot of Democratic leaning voters on Xanga who don't like me, I challenge you to support this blog anyway, because it's a good blog.  I challenge you to support it for the president or for the general education of Xangan Americans, and all of Xanga because you know this is a good and important blog and that's not me having an ego. I challenge you to support it, while hating me, you can even say, "DJ I can't stand you but I support this blog," because I don't care about me, I'm not a politican, I'm a policy person. You can say "DJ I don't like you/can't stand you/hate you but I support this blog and I promise I won't delete it.  Just NO NEED to ELABORATE on my shortcomings and character defects, just keep it simple and I'll leave it up.

Looking at the top Xanga political blogs today, I feel like the sane one. You guys don't want that! It's a fucking scary state of affairs, but some of these blogs, and the comments on them.  Some of you people are fucked up. Severely.

Yesterday the blogs that I saw on Xanga were about 90 percent PRO-OBAMA's latest BFD, yet the blogs you people decide to drive up to the main page are the 10 percent of extremist anti-Obama maniac blogs. The bloggers you decide to put on the top ten are written by the original birthers, the original he's a Muslim bloggers, the original people who have stood with the crazies every step of the way to try to demonize a wonderful president. The extremism of Xanga on the right is jaw dropping, I'm NOT the only liberal or moderate liberal voice on Xanga, perhaps we are the majority, why do you drive up only the blogs of the nutter butter 'OMG next thing you know he's gonna say it's OK for humans to fuck horses," types of people...

The best blogs on this topic aren't on the main page and who knows why.  For example, Lena (@Itswhateyeknow) did a wonderful blog about what her 11 year old son had to say about gay marriage.  You should go look at it, it's hilarious. And multiple people on Xanga have come out cheering, @Kristenmomof3, for example, and all kinds of young people.  Young people, most of them, have no idea why anyone would have a problem with gay marriage because there's nothing intrinsically wrong with it at all!  It's just some stupid conditioning that has older people cowering or trying to manipulate and control the world, sorry old conservative people, you don't run the world anymore.
